rooted in boise
acero opened on main street in november 2023
and it's been made for sharing since day one.
the name
acero
a·che·ro / italian for maple tree
we were born and raised in boise, the city of trees. so we named ourselves after one, and planted another right in the middle of the dining room. no matter where we grow, our roots stay here.
the idea
built for sharing
we took our cue from tapas, the spanish habit of ordering a little of everything and passing it around the table. then we filled that table with italian and mediterranean flavors: bruschetta boards, charcuterie, pastas and plenty of wine.
the point was never one plate per person. it's the table.
it's the people
a team that treats a tuesday night like an occasion. guests who turn a quick glass into a long table. and a city that made us feel at home from day one.
